Jan is a strategic market development consultant to entertainment studios, visual effects, and technology companies, and specializes in market research, and digital and social media. She has worked with recognized and award-winning feature and television production studios from around the world, including Dream Quest Images, Calico Entertainment, Rhythm and Hues, BigBad Tomato, RocketFish Studios and Virtual Magic Animation. Prior to this, Jan worked for Fortune 500 advertising agencies.
Jan is a founding member and president emeritus of the board of directors of Women in Animation International, and a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She is currently an adjunct professor at Santa Monica College and Otis College of Art and Design.
